HISTORY
Founded on 2003 in Santa Rosa, south of Ecuador, Diosmar Group has over 20 years of shrimp production experience in the market.

1995

Our very first roots marked the beginning of a passionate journey, which led to massive consumption products in Arenillas, El Oro, Ecuador.

2003

With audacity, we ventured in the aquaculture area, starting commercialization and shrimp head removement. We established our own processing plant in Santa Rosa, El Oro, settling our bases of what we have become today.

2007

We have witnessed a substantial increase in our shrimp production, which is why we consolidate our commitement with excellence.

2015

In September, we marked a landmark when we started producing shrimp larvae in our own innovative marine genetics laboratory. A meaningful step closer to sustainability and high quality.

2020

In March, we moved forward to the next level by the purchase of our own shrimp packing system, with that starting our export process. In this way, Procamaronex was born. With a lot of pride we became exporters, taking our shrimp essence to the world.

2021

Diosmar Group, begins to export its own production, incorporating a new internal división called Procesadora y Exportadora de Camarón Procamaronex C. LTDA. We offer fresh shrimp with the high quality standards required by the most demanding and competitive markets.

2022

Diosmar Group acquires Mariscos del Ecuador, a processing plant and exporting shrimp plant located in Machala city (Ecuador), to expand our processing capacity with shrimpsupplied by other aquaculturists from south of Ecuador.

FREEZING

Freezing capacity increase on 2021 by the means of a brine equipment installation, reaching to 450,000 pounds daily.

STORAGE

Storage expansion with aditional chambers of 1.5 million pounds.

ICE FACTORY INAUGURATION

Inauguration of FADHI ice factory located in km 16.5 via Daule (Ecuador), with a 220 tons daily capacity

SALES GOALS

We accomplished to reach our sales goal of 250.000.000 pounds thanks to a new administrative management started in August 2020.

AUTOMATIC FEEDERS

Carrying out automatic feeders and aerators on the farm division Valentina, with a performance of 11,000 pounds by hectare.

ELECTRIFICATION PROJECT

A complete electrification project for the shrimp division Valentina, with a substation of 42 megawatts finished with a $1.5 million investment.

LARVAE LABORATORY

Marine Genetics larvae laboratory with an increase of 200 million larvae and an investment Project of $3.6 millions. Current production of 600 million larvae for 2023.
